Chicken Bacon Ranch Wontons
These Chicken Bacon Ranch Wontons are a variation on an old favorite of mine. There are sinfully delicious. You certainly won’t want to stop eating them, even my finicky daughter loves them.
Pound of chicken breast
Real bacon bits
Packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Mix
Block of Pepper Jack cheese (I suggest two packages)
Package of large wonton wraps which can usually be found in the produce section.
Preheat oven to 350.
You can prepare the chicken any way you like. I boil my chicken with black pepper and lime. While your chicken is boiling go ahead and shred your cheese and dice your jalepenos. Once the chicken is done shred it and place it in a mixing bowl (if you shred with a mixer you’re halfway there!). Add packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Mix and stir until well blended. Next add jalepenos to your liking (I’m from Texas so the spicier the better) and stir together. Lay out the wraps and distribute the chicken mixture evenly across the center of the shell. Top with the cheese then roll into the shape of a burrito. Bake for 10 minutes (usually until you see the edge of the shell start to lightly brown, then remove from oven. Cut into thirds and serve!
